South Africa
Chenin Blanc, Grenache Blanc, Viognier
White Wine
The Wolftrap White is taking the world by storm. With only the third vintage bottled it has become South Africaʹs super quaffer. The Viognier grapes are sourced from a dryland vineyard in Malmesbury, the Chenin Blanc from Stellenbosch and the Grenache Blanc from the Piekenierskloof near Citrusdal. Blended and aged in French oak these components deliver a South African white wine of outstanding quality. Viognier 57%, Chenin Blanc 32% and Grenache Blanc 11%.

Wine Spectator Notes : Vibrant pineapple, peach and fennel notes race along, with a flash of green almond on the finish. A flattering style, with good energy for balance.

Tasting Notes : The rich yet lively nose shows aromatic floral flavours of apple blossom and spice. White peach and yellow apple show on the palate, which is medium bodied and generously textured with judicious use of oak. Well balanced natural acidity with a lengthy mouthwatering finish. Viognier 48% | Chenin Blanc 41% | Grenache Blanc 11%
