Red Wine

Wine Spectator Notes : This balanced red shows a polished texture and a solid structure, with a mix of black cherry and blackberry fruit, complemented by sanguine, mineral and toasty notes. Drink now through 2020. 4,000 cases made.

Robert Parker Notes : The 2010 Corimbo fermented in oak vats and is pure Tempranillo with a similar profile to the 2011, but with the benefit of one extra year in bottle and a fresh, almost perfect growing season. The wine feels serious, a little austere, but perfectly proportioned with clean, focused flavors of ripe fruit, earthy minerality and licorice, and the wood perfectly and neatly folded into the wine. Drink 2014-2019.

Tasting Notes : A wine with a fairly long life which will evolve very well in the bottle. Colour: High robe with dark bigarreau cherry background and red bluish rim. Nose: A black and red berry sensation in the line with that of the blackberry and cherry with hints of peach skin. Well integrated oak that is only seen in a pleasant note of coffee. Earth underneath the pine forest in the morning. Aromatic plants in the sun, lavender, marjoram and rockrose. Floral hints that give it freshness. It feels creamy, caressing. Palate: Medium body with good volume, fruity and fresh. Very good quality fresh tannins, still present. Fruity aftertaste with hints of flowers and pine forest landscape which could be noticed on the nose.
